CAN I RENT A VEHICLE FROM ONE LOCATION AND DROP IT OFF AT ANOTHER LOCATION?
YES you can, simply need to inform us
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DOES EXPRESS CAR RENTAL ACCEPTS?
You may pay in Cash or a normal Debit card, Visa or by Bank Transfer.
I AM FLYING OT MADEIRA, HOW CAN I GET MY CAR?
We may deliver the car at the airport, in the hotel or at our main branch office in Funchal city.
WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
We offer two types of insurance coverage:
CDW – Collision Damage Waiver (Basic Insurance Cover)
Mandatory | Included in website prices

Requires a security deposit of €1,500, payable on the vehicle delivery day

The deposit is fully refundable at the end of the rental period, minus bank transaction fees, provided that no accident or damage occurs

In the event of any accident or damage, the Lessee is liable for costs up to €1,500

The security deposit will not be refunded if any accident or damage is recorded
⚠️ Important:
CDW does not cover damage resulting from negligence, misuse, reckless driving, traffic violations, or breach of contract. In such cases, the Driver is fully responsible for the total repair cost and any associated losses.

In the event of an accident or damage under normal driving conditions, an excess fee of €100 applies

Provides enhanced protection and reduced financial exposure
⚠️ Important:
SCDW does not cover accidents or damage caused by negligence, misconduct, speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off-road driving, or any breach of the rental agreement. In such cases, the Driver remains fully liable for all costs.

For peace of mind and maximum financial protection, we strongly recommend upgrading to the SCDW Premium Insurance Cover.
HOW DO I KNOW MY BOOKING IS CONFIRMED?
After completing your reservation, you will receive an automatic email with your booking details and order number, showing the status “PENDING”.
This status does not mean confirmation. Your reservation is only valid after approval by our team.
Once approved, you will receive a second email with the status “CONFIRMED”.

All payments made during the reservation process are non-refundable.
CAN I RENT A CAR OUTSIDE NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS?

CAN I BOOK AND PAY EVEN IF I DON´T PICK IT UP OR IF I AM NOT THE DRIVER?
Yes, the reservation can be made in a name even if it is not the name of the driver.
WHAT IS THE REQUIRED ELEMENTS TO RENT A VEHICLE?
Over 21 years old and have at least 1 year of valid driving license.
